Pakistan-linked Terrorists Being Hunted Down by The Indian Soldiers

Pakistani terrorists

For the past few months, we have been witnessing a series of attacks happening in the Jammu area of The JNK Union Territory. The Indian Army has indicated the involvement of the ex-Pakistan Army Officers and some high-ranking terrorists. The good news is, when these Pakistan Sponsored Terrorists moved from Srinagar to Jammu in search of better opportunities, they forgot that the Indian Army was trying its best to hunt them down.

In response to the recent surge in terrorist activities in the Jammu region, the Indian Army has intensified its efforts by deploying additional troops and conducting “a series of joint and coordinated operations” with the J&K Police. The primary objective is to eliminate “foreign (Pakistan-origin) terrorists” who have infiltrated the region. These Pakistani terrorists find it easier to sneak into Jammu compared to the Kashmir Valley due to more accessible infiltration routes.

The well-trained terrorists, armed with modern weapons such as MP-4 assault rifles, steel-core bullets, and highly encrypted communication equipment, strategically operate within the region. They venture into the area for sustenance and attacks before retreating to the upper reaches of the thickly forested hilly terrain. Their tactics have been described by experts as displaying “sniper-like military precision,” a term echoed by veterans and counter-insurgency heroes who have previously battled terrorists in these very mountains.

What’s the Pakistan Strategy Behind Recent Jammu Attacks?

Despite the Indian soldiers being equipped with bulletproof vests and helmets, the Pakistani terrorists have managed to inflict casualties by targeting the relatively small exposed areas of the soldiers’ bodies. The tragic return of young Indian soldiers in coffins to their heartbroken but resilient families has highlighted this brutal reality. The experts emphasize that, even with advanced protective gear, the infiltrators’ precise aim has resulted in grievous losses.

Modi, Kashmir, Jammu

PM Modi’s clear message to the army!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking proactive measures by regularly reviewing security. Union Minister Jitendra Singh stated that a new strategy has been adopted to neutralize Pakistani terrorists and ensure the safety of the region. This approach underscores the government’s commitment to addressing the increasing militancy.

Singh highlighted the significant role of Village Defence Guards (VDGs) in counter-terrorism efforts, announcing plans to revive these units. The VDGs, which have been instrumental in past security operations, will be re-equipped and redeployed in sensitive areas to bolster the defense against Pakistani terrorists.

In the past one-and-a-half months, heightened militancy in Jammu and Kashmir has resulted in 24 deaths, including 10 Indian soldiers, and 56 injuries. The Doda district alone witnessed three terror incidents in as many days, leading to the death of four army personnel, including a Captain. These incidents have prompted serious governmental action to combat terrorism in the region.

The deaths of our Bravehearts are not only bringing our confidence as a nation down, but they are also giving more power and confidence to these rats that have been infiltrating our land.

In addition to reinstating VDGs, the government is considering the establishment of new units in particularly vulnerable areas. These units will be equipped with modern weapons, including self-loading rifles (SLRs), to effectively counter terrorist threats. The government’s commitment to this initiative highlights the critical role VDGs have played and will continue to play in regional security.

Furthermore, Singh inaugurated a sanitary napkin manufacturing unit in Kishtwar as part of a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, aiming to promote hygiene among women and girls in remote areas. He also announced plans for Kishtwar to generate 8,000 megawatts of electricity and the development of an airstrip to better connect the district with the rest of the country, demonstrating the government’s dedication to both security and development in Jammu and Kashmir.

What you read before this is a small timeline and a very few examples of what these animals have done to the place that was once called “Heaven on Earth”

In the immortal words of The Great Poet Amir Khusro defining Kashmir ‘Gar firdaus bar roo-e zameen ast, hameen ast-o, hameen ast-o, hameen ast’ meaning ‘If there is Paradise on Earth, this is it’.

Unfortunately, the 90s kids and the GenZ have been shown the wrong picture about our Kashmir. Yes! It is OUR Kashmir. But now, after the abrogation of Article 370, the home-grown terrorists and stone-pelters have diminished in numbers as they can see there’s no point. Now, these animals have shifted their focus on the peaceful Jammu region But the real question here remains, “on whose commands?”

Well, we all know who is behind all this, and we know where the solution lies as well. What we don’t know is for how long will this government stay silent on these attacks.

We need them to take some action. We need to restore our faith in the Indian army by showing these Pakistani terrorists what the Indian Kashmiri is made of. We need to fight back. Soldier for Soldier, Head for a Head, Major for a Major, and maybe an Army Garrison for even one soldier dead on our side. That’s how these Pakistani animals will understand.
