Since 2021, India and Pakistan have had a quiet border. Uncharacteristic of the Pakistani army, General Bajwa was the one who suggested that Pakistan should ease border tensions with India. Yet again, Pakistan showed its true colours and we have lost four of our bravehearts in Jammu’s Doda District.
Today, over three years later, we stand at the same point as we did back in 1947, then in 1965, 1971, 1984, and in Kargil 1999. Every time the Indian Government has extended the ‘hand of Peace’, they are backstabbed by their Pakistani counterparts. The reason has always remained simple, The Pakistani Army.
The Attack that Killed 4 of our Jawans
Some people just don’t understand when to quit. The whole 25 crore or 250 million people living in Pakistan are of the same mindset.
In the Doda area of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, an encounter with terrorists resulted in the deaths of four Indian Army personnel, including an officer.
The Army claimed in an online statement that Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra, and Sepoy Ajay died while carrying out their duties.
“General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of army staff, and all ranks of the Indian Army convey their deepest condolences to the brave hearts, Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra and Sepoy Ajay, who laid down their lives in the line of the duty, while undertaking a counter-terrorist operation in Doda in order to ensure peace in the region. Indian Army stands firm with the bereaved families in this hour of grief,” his X post read.
After everything that these four and thousands of other families have gone through, the only thing that would make their sorrow ease a little is the successful extermination of these infiltrating terrorists sent by our enemy nation.
However, we will have to wait for the government’s reaction as everything depends on them.
How many attacks till the Modi Government wakes up?
This is the Second major attack in the span of just 2 months. The headlines of Reaasi are still fresh in people’s minds. And now Doda, it seems like after the abrogation of Article 370, the focus of all the terrorists living in Kashmir or Pakistan has shifted towards Jammu.
We have lost a lot of lives this side of the border, it’s time they lose some as well. The air strikes in Balakot were not enough. They were enough to scare them momentarily, but as Hilary Clinton once famously said, “If you keep snakes in your backyard, don’t assume it will only bite your neigh ours, one day or the other these snakes will bite you too”!
Although this phrase was used for Pakistan harboring terrorists in its protection. We think that it somehow matches with our situation. After all, we have the most venomous snake in the world in our backyard.
Our Opinion
Peace and Non-violence, are two of the greatest gifts Mahatma Gandhi gave us. However, our neighboring population learned its lessons from its first Governor General and the creator of this disease called Pakistan.
Letting their army breathe even for a single second is a disgrace. India ‘MUST’ retaliate first and stop waiting for the international (biased) community. We have seen that every nation shuts its mouth when it comes to saying something against a terrorist nation like Pakistan.
We have changed as a nation and as a society. We do not treat terrorists with human consideration now. If you pick up arms against India, you are as good as dead. That should be the clear message from India.
We hope that the Modi Government will not let us down at least on this matter.
Till the next time
